1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, connecting a brokerage account, or otherwise using Recurring Trade (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time — see Section 14.
Visiting recurringtrade.com, joining the waitlist, or submitting the contact form does not by itself create an account or constitute use of the Service, so these Terms don't yet apply to you at that point — but any information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
Recurring Trade is a portfolio analytics and market research platform. It provides tools for tracking portfolios, analyzing historical seasonal price patterns, backtesting, and related research features. All information, charts, backtests, and alerts presented through the Service are provided for informational and research purposes only.
Recurring Trade is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or fiduciary. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any security or financial instrument. Historical patterns and backtested results do not guarantee future performance. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions, and you should consult a licensed professional before acting on anything presented through the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using Recurring Trade, you represent that you meet these requirements and that your use of the Service does not violate any law or regulation applicable to you.
4. Account Registration & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@recurringtrade.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You must not share your account, impersonate another person, or provide false information when registering.
5. Fees
Recurring Trade is currently offered free of charge during this early-access period. We may introduce paid subscription plans in the future; if we do, pricing and billing terms will be presented to you separately and will not apply retroactively without your consent.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of any applicable securities, tax, or financial regulation;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems and infrastructure;
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract data from the Service outside of features we provide for that purpose;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service (including by introducing malware or attempting denial-of-service);
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or the market data made available through it, except as permitted by the underlying data providers' own terms.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
7. Third-Party Brokerage Connections & Market Data
The Service allows you to optionally connect third-party brokerage accounts (currently via SnapTrade, TradeStation, and Interactive Brokers) to import portfolio and transaction data. These connections are governed by the respective third party's own terms of service and privacy policy in addition to ours, and your use of them is at your own discretion. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of these third-party services.
Market and pricing data displayed through the Service is sourced from third-party data providers and may be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data presented.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and underlying analytics engines, is owned by Recurring Trade and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. All other rights are reserved.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any data, analysis, or backtest result is accurate or complete. This is heightened during this early-access period, while the Service is actively under development.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recurring Trade and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or investment losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Recurring Trade harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or any investment decision you make in connection with it.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service (or parts of it) at our discretion, with notice where reasonably practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 8–11) will continue to apply.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
The specific governing law, venue, and dispute-resolution process (including whether disputes are resolved through arbitration) for these Terms will be finalized as part of the attorney review noted in Section 14, and will be reflected here before the Service exits early access. Until then, please raise any dispute with us directly at support@recurringtrade.com so we can work to resolve it informally.
14. Changes to These Terms
These Terms describe Recurring Trade's service and practices as they currently exist, but — like our Privacy Policy — they have not yet been reviewed by legal counsel. A complete, attorney-reviewed version will replace this before the platform's public launch. We may update these Terms as the Service evolves; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
